A small site.
A small data footprint.
We use cookies to remember your preferences and, with your consent, count unique visitors and returning visits.
Affiliate links
Affiliate links may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. As Amazon Associates we only earn from qualifying purchases.
On this site
We do not use advertising trackers or visitor accounts. Optional visitor analytics are explained below. Choosing a language also selects an Amazon store and currency. A cookie named catalog_preferences stores your language, Amazon store and currency for up to 180 days. It contains preferences, not a visitor ID, and is not used for advertising or click statistics. You can change the language in the header or remove the cookie in your browser. Language, store and product filters appear in the page URL so comparisons can be shared or bookmarked. We do not ask for your name, email address or delivery address. The delivery country is saved separately from the Amazon store and determines AliExpress shipping quotes.
Visitor statistics
We count pageviews by website, public page and UTC day, including when you decline visitor analytics. We do not save query strings, filter values, IP addresses, browser information or referrers in these statistics. With your consent, we also count unique browsers, visits and returning visits. We store a hash of a random browser ID, its last activity time, visit counts and the days and website lists visited. A new visit starts after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is pseudonymous data, not a count of identifiable people. Visitor IDs are separate for each website and are not linked to affiliate clicks or purchases. For the 24-hour report, pageviews and consented visitor activity are also aggregated by minute and product list for 25 hours.
Your choice and data retention
We remember your choice in analytics_consent_<site> for 180 days. Only after consent do we set analytics_visitor_<site>, containing a random ID that expires after 90 days. Both are first-party cookies. Daily visitor and pageview records cover 90 UTC days; inactive identifiers expire after 90 days. Expired records are removed on the next statistics access. You can withdraw consent below or in the footer. Withdrawal deletes the visitor cookie and its linked records from active statistics; aggregate pageviews and clicks remain. Older records may remain in the seven most recent restricted backups until those copies are replaced. Minute aggregates are removed on the next statistics access after 25 hours.
Affiliate click statistics
Product and signup links pass through our shortlinks before redirecting to Amazon or AliExpress. We store a count per affiliate link and UTC day, without visitor cookies, IP addresses, browser information, referrers or individual click records. These counts do not identify people or purchases. Recognizable robots and prefetch requests are excluded. We also keep minute totals per affiliate link for 25 hours for the 24-hour report.
Administrator access
The statistics dashboard is private. Cloudflare Access authenticates the administrator in production under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Administrator identity is not added to click statistics.
Technical requests
The hosting provider and Cloudflare, when enabled, may process technical request data such as IP address, requested URL and browser information to serve and secure the site, under their own policies. We do not use request logs to build marketing profiles.
Leaving for retailers
Affiliate links identify our affiliate account as the referring site. Amazon and AliExpress may use cookies and process your data under their own privacy policies when you view products, register or order. We receive no payment or delivery information through this website.
Product images
Product images may load directly from the retailer’s image servers, making a request from your browser to that provider. Images use a no-referrer policy to avoid sending your comparison URL.
